Este Domingo, 25 de Noviembre, MO' BLUES cerrará la segunda noche del
 BIERFEST festejando los 100 años de la Cervecería Santa Fe.

  El evento se realizará frente al ingreso de Cervecería Santa Fe, sobre las
 calles Calchines y Lavalle

  On a hot evening MO'BLUES took their audience of over ten thousand music lovers captive,
  and refused to let them go until after the last note had ricocheted across the Detroit River
  at the Bluesfest International, Windsor, Canada, festival.

  The band, consisting of Sebastian Casis (bass, vocals), Federico Teiler (guitar, vocals),
  Gabriel De Pedro (keys, vocals), and Ruben Tissembaum (drums), impressed the judges at the 2011
  International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Although they did not win they did influence those in the audience
  to book them for future performances in New York City and Bluesfest International. Santa Fe, Argentina,
  is home for these musicians.

  They first came to the US in 2000, playing most exclusively in Spanish. Returning every year they increased
  their fan base. As Sebastian puts it, "Music is the international language and we are the living proof of it".
  They learned how to play by listening to records of the classic rock and blues masters from the 60's and 70's.
  Since the late 1960's the devotion and tradition Argentina has had of staging these music styles from North
  America and England has been strong. It was the first country musicians sang blues and rock and roll in
  Spanish. Evidenced by a set that included a slow blues "I Feel So Lonely (I Want to Go Home)", a rock blues
  "Shadows of Your Love" that was just killer, lightening solos by Ruben on the keyboard, an English/Spanish
  "Born Under A Bad Sign"/"Nacido Bajo Un Signo Malo" (which is on their album "MO' BLUES" (2010), plus a
  breathtaking "No Aguano Mas" ("Can't Stand It No More" where Sebastian and Fede do what they call
  "the two-headed octopus", when they play side-by-side with hands crossed on the other's instrument, the
  dynamic players captivate wherever they go. These two are the main writers in the band with Sebastian
  translating lyrics from Spanish to English, writing original material in both languages as well as blues classics
  into Spanish.

  The performance closed with the audience standing and cheering for Ruben's scorching drum solo while the
  other band members left the stage only to return wearing red t-shirts with the Canadian maple leaf thus
  bringing wild cheers from the excited audience. This quartet really knows how to tap into the profound legacy
  of the blues and channel that energy into every gig that they do. It would be a good idea to check this band
  from Argentina out the next time they travel north as MO'BLUES delivers the goods.

  En el mes de Octubre, MO' BLUES volverán a los Estados Unidos, realizando
  presentaciones en New York, Atlanta y Birmingham.

Como ocurriera en 2008,
MO' BLUES volverá a participar del
encuentro de bandas de Blues más
importante del mundo, durante el mes de Enero de 2010.
MO' BLUES es la primer y única banda de habla hispana que ha sido invitada a este evento, el cual es organizado, desde hace 26 años, por la BLUES FOUNDATION de la ciudad de Memphis.

During their 2008 Tour,
MO'BLUES performed in
Memphis, and the band
took the time to visit long time friend Jody Stephens (owner) at Ardent Studios.

MO' BLUES first album, Rush Hour was recorded there, during the first US Tour in 2000. The album was recorded by producer/engineer Jason Latshaw in about 12 hours.

MO' BLUES volverán a Wellington's Bristo el próximo Sábado 20 de Septiembre.

Luego de los shows en Birmingham (Jueves 11, Viernes 12) y  Bessemer (Sabado 13), la banda volvio a encontrarse con sus fanaticos en la ciudad de Memphis, TN (Domingo 14).

La Blues Foundation, organismo que nuclea la actividad bluesera de todo el mundo, invito a MO' BLUES a que vuelvan a Memphis durante el mes de Mayo de 2009, para una serie de presentaciones en la Beale Street, mundialmente conocida calle donde el Blues y el Rock and Roll fueron forjados de la mano de grandes artistas como BB KING, OTIS REDDING, MUDDY WATERS y ELVIS PRESLEY entre muchos otros.

para celebrar la obra del recordado Norberto Pappo Napolitano. Tambien participaron del evento Viticus y Lovorne junto a otras bandas rosarinas.

La banda se prepara
para realizar una nueva
gira por los Estados Unidos
en Enero 2008, en la cual participarán en el INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE (IBC), organizado por la BLUES FOUNDATION en Memphis, Tennessee.

THE BLUES FOUNDATION (www.blues.org) es el organismo más importante del mundo dedicado mantener viva la llama de Blues.

MO' BLUES han sido especialmente invitados y será la primer banda Argentina que participe de este festival, considerado como "El evento más exitante dedicado al Blues", el cual se viene celebrando desde hace 24 años.

Al IBC, no sólo acuden fanaticos del Blues de todo el mundo, sino también representantes de la prensa especializada, agentes de sellos discográficos y managerment, ya que de allí surgirán los nuevos artistas revelación del año.

En 2008 participarán del INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE más de 50 bandas y solistas de 9 paises.

Argentina estará representada por MO' BLUES de la ciudad Santa Fe... un verdadero orgullo.
